What you will learn in this course:

  • Understand the scientific foundations of UV/LED technology applied to eyelash extensions, including the polymerization mechanism of cyanoacrylate-based adhesives and the difference between moisture activation and specific wavelength activation.
  • Master the photo-induced polymerization process, by identifying the impact of environmental factors (humidity, temperature) on traditional glues and justifying the benefit of controlled UV/LED light triggering.
  • Install and use a UV/LED device correctly, respecting technical parameters to ensure complete, homogeneous, and safe polymerization.
  • Ensure optimal and stable retention, by controlling the formation of cyanoacrylate polymer chains and avoiding polymerization defects.
  • Apply a simplified and safe working protocol, by reducing the excessive use of coadjuvant products likely to alter the natural lash, and limiting the risks of sensitization.
  • Implement mandatory professional safety measures, including eye protection, management of light exposure, and organization of an environment compliant with good practices.
  • Identify the mechanisms responsible for irritations and allergic reactions, and explain how instant UV/LED polymerization helps reduce vapor emission and exposure to active monomers.

Founder of the RASTELLI PARIS brand, Luana Rastelli is a recognized international expert in the field of eyelash extensions. She notably contributed to the introduction and development of the Russian volume technique in Brazil.

Based in Bordeaux, since 2016 she has supported professionals from all over the world as a trainer, speaker, and judge at international competitions.

As an organizer of professional events dedicated to excellence in eye enhancement, she is committed to a constant research and development approach to design innovative techniques and high-performance products that meet the demands of the international market.

Her teaching approach is based on a scientific, structured, and results-oriented methodology, combining technical precision, safety, and performance.
